Most of us have been there, but what does it really take within yourself to go against the standard quo and start your own business or non-profit?

Come hear the stories of three strong women who are changing the landscape of Central New York with their gifts and talents!

Sheila Dion - Erin's Angels & Small Town Girl Marketing

Sheila Dion is the founder of Erin's Angels, which was started to help reduce food insecurities in children. She started it in memory of Erin Maxwell (age 11) who tragically died in 2008 due to abuse and a lack of food. She works closely with the Phoenix School District to make sure kids are fed.

She also recently started her own business called "Small Town Girl Marketing" to create marketing materials for small businesses that do not have their own marketing department. Find more information about Sheila.

Lindsay Mastro - Blue Moon Growth Co & The Crescent Collective

Lindsay Mastro is a mom, a wife, an HR and leadership development consultant, a business mentor, AND.... a psychic medium. She struggled with the pressures of a "normal" like: Go to college, get married, buy a house, have a kid, work, work, work.

Feeling a deeper spiritual calling, she started Blue Moon Growth Co which is an HR agency focused on building conscious leaders and conscious organizations. And as a spiritual coach, she helps other realize that you can explore your spirituality in a way that allows you to "war the heels, but swear like a sailor." Find more information about Lindsay.

Emily Tills - Nourished with Emily

Nourished with Emily was started right after Emily graduated from college at the age of 22. Societal pressures of "get a job" weighed heavy against her and her dreams, but she persisted and sought out mentorship to keep her going. Today, she helps women understand that nourishing your body, before wanting to make any changes to it - like weight loss - needs to be our primary goal. Find more information about Emily.
